Seymour Duncan SPH90-1B Nickel Guitar-pickup

Humbucker guitar pickup from Vintage series that delivers a true P90 bridge tone in a standard sized humbucker slot. Originally developed in the Custom Shop for Hamer Guitars, this pickup is a true single-coil P90 Soapbar which fits under a humbucker cover and drops into humbucker-equipped guitars. It provides all of the authentic bridge position grit and growl that can be expected from a vintage P90 Soapbar. The bridge is wounded to provided chords with lots of bright harmonics, and solos have that sharp single coil cut. It uses two Alnico 2 bar magnets for more sustain and softer attack. And the metal covers provide more shielding and noise reduction than standard soapbar covers. The pickup is hand built in Santa Barbara and uses custom nickel cover, nickel silver bottom plate, and single-conductor braided hook-up wire. It is vacuum wax potted for squeal free operation. No routing is required. The pickup can be paired with the Seymour Duncan’s Phat Cat neck model for a complete set.
