All pieces use the first position only and can be used after a few months of instruction. The Sassmannshaus schools are complemented by many other well-known and unknown pieces. There is "a duoversion" two-voice option for all pieces and the second part can be taken by the teacher or an advanced student. In addition, a piano voice can be used as an accompaniment and played by the teacher or the parents. Kurt Sassmannshaus is the publisher of numerous string editions, published by Bärenreiter and he developed these album together with his wife Melissa Lusk and his son Christoph Sassmannshaus.
